One of the greatest pleasures of my job is being able to take worse for ware/sentimental jewellery, melt it down to a bar and work it into something new and beautiful to be worn and loved for the years to come.

I love seeing the smile on peoples faces when I reveal the finished article, you hear some great stories about the people that wore the jewellery and I've even taken a moment to pause just before placing wedding bands into the crucible for melting to look at it and think wow, this ring bound two people together in love for a lifetime.. at first you feel sad to be melting it down but once you see the finished piece it makes it all better...
